Castle pines - Solon

With full-scope furnishing as the foundation, our work at Castle Pine began with intentional space planning—creating a hierarchy within the open-concept layout that gave each zone its own identity while maintaining harmony throughout. Every fabric, finish, and fixture was selected to reflect the family’s lifestyle: boucle and raised-pile textiles for softness and depth, mercury glass lighting for understated sparkle, and a rich blend of mixed metals to bring contrast and character. Pops of color were introduced subtly—through layered textures, dimensional wallpapers, and custom furniture with personality. The result is a refined yet relaxed home that feels just as suited to Sunday dinners for 12 as it does to late-night lounging by the bar. A true reflection of who they are, and how they live.

our approach

The clients behind Castle Pine came to us with a vision rooted in connection—an inviting, textural home where their big Italian family could gather, celebrate, and unwind. With three active boys and demanding careers in the medical field, they craved a space that felt like a retreat yet remained effortlessly functional for everyday life. Their aesthetic leaned transitional, with a love for neutrals and clean lines, but they wanted the home to feel layered, interesting, and personal. From a foyer-turned-cozy moment with a statement fireplace to an expansive addition designed to host everything from holidays to casual game nights, every room was created with people—and purpose—in mind. The design had to feel both sophisticated and welcoming, with thoughtful zoning to support the flow of large-scale entertaining and quiet evenings alike.
